Website (Waitlist)

When you sign up for our waitlist, we collect:

Email address - Used solely to notify you when SongSmith AI is available

Chrome Extension

The SongSmith AI extension stores the following data locally on your device:

OpenRouter API Key - Stored in Chrome's secure sync storage to enable AI features
User preferences - Your custom instructions, settings, and profiles
Album data - Song concepts and album plans you create
Extension state - UI preferences like panel position

2. HOW_WE_USE_YOUR_INFORMATION

Email addresses - Only to send product launch notifications
API keys - To authenticate with OpenRouter on your behalf (keys are sent directly to OpenRouter, not to our servers)
Local data - To provide extension functionality; this data never leaves your device

3. DATA_STORAGE_AND_SECURITY

Local Storage: All extension data is stored locally using Chrome's storage APIs. Your API keys and personal data are stored on your device and synced via your Google account if you're signed into Chrome.

No Server Storage: We do not operate servers that store your personal data. The extension communicates directly with:

OpenRouter API (for AI generation)
Suno.com (for music generation - using your own account)

Waitlist Data: Email addresses collected via the waitlist are stored in Google Sheets with standard Google security protections.

4. THIRD-PARTY_SERVICES

SongSmith AI integrates with:

Google Sheets - For waitlist storage (website only)

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services.

Access - View all data stored by the extension in Chrome's storage
Delete - Remove all extension data by uninstalling the extension
Opt-out - Unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time

7. CHILDREN'S_PRIVACY

SongSmith AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
