These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SongSmith AI Chrome extension and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by SongSmith AI ("we", "our", or "us"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. ACCEPTANCE_OF_TERMS

By installing the SongSmith AI extension or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. DESCRIPTION_OF_SERVICE

SongSmith AI is a Chrome browser extension that:

Generates song concepts (lyrics, styles, art prompts) using AI via OpenRouter
Automates form filling on Suno.com to streamline music creation
Helps plan and organize albums
Provides tools for batch downloading and audio processing

The extension is provided as a productivity tool and does not create music itself - it interfaces with third-party services (Suno, OpenRouter) that you must have separate accounts with.

3. USER_RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to:

Comply with third-party terms: Follow Suno's Terms of Service and OpenRouter's Terms when using their services through our extension
Use your own accounts: Only use API keys and accounts that belong to you
Not abuse the service: Do not use SongSmith AI for spam, fraud, or any illegal purpose
Secure your credentials: Keep your API keys confidential
Respect rate limits: Do not attempt to circumvent any limitations imposed by Suno or OpenRouter

4. INTELLECTUAL_PROPERTY

Your Content: You retain all rights to the song concepts, lyrics, and other content you create using SongSmith AI.

Generated Music: Music generated through Suno is subject to Suno's terms regarding ownership and usage rights. We do not claim any rights to music you generate.

Our Software: The SongSmith AI extension code and branding remain our intellectual property.

5. THIRD-PARTY_SERVICES

SongSmith AI integrates with third-party services that have their own terms:

Suno.com: We are not affiliated with Suno. Your use of Suno through our extension is subject to Suno's Terms of Service
OpenRouter: AI generation is powered by OpenRouter. See OpenRouter's Terms

We are not responsible for changes, outages, or policy changes by these third-party services.

6. DISCLAIMER_OF_WARRANTIES

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Third-party integrations (Suno, OpenRouter) will always function
AI-generated content will meet your expectations
The Service will be compatible with future versions of Chrome or third-party websites

7. LIMITATION_OF_LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SONGSMITH AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
Damages resulting from third-party service outages or changes
Any amount exceeding what you paid for the Service (which is $0 for free users)

8. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SongSmith AI from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights or terms
Content you create or distribute using the Service

9. MODIFICATIONS_TO_SERVICE

We reserve the right to:

Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
Update these Terms with reasonable notice
Change features, pricing, or availability

10. TERMINATION

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms.

11. GOVERNING_LAW

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
